The Classes
This class is for those who haven’t thrown with me before and is offered at an introductory rate to see if you enjoy the vibe of the class. It’s a chance to try something new, get your hands dirty and enjoy the feeling of making your very first pieces. Its a “have a go” class, bring a friend and have some fun class.
Intro To Throwing
2hr Studio Session
his class is perfect for anyone who has completed the Intro to Throwing workshop and wants to continue developing their skills, as well as those looking for a regular pottery session. Use the two-hour class however you like, whether that's throwing on the wheel, hand-building, or working on your own projects with guidance and support.
Come weekly, monthly, or whenever suits you. This is a relaxed, creative space to build confidence, explore new techniques, and develop your pottery practice at your own pace. All clay is included.
1:1 Beginners Throwing Classes
Hand Building Class
These are one-to-one sessions so you will have my full attention throughout.
In the first session, we will focus on throwing clay and getting comfortable at the wheel.
The second session is about turning your pieces, refining them and adding handles if you so wish.
In this workshop, you'll learn my hand-building techniques and create your own mug, plus choose to make either a butter dish or a coffee pour-over. After the class I'll bisque fire your pieces. You can then return to glaze them yourself or have me glaze and finish them for you.
The workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
